  • Layers, Layers, Layers: Baltic Birch is made up of numerous thin layers (plies) of birch veneer, often 13 or more in a 3/4" sheet. Each layer is typically around 1.5mm thick, creating a dense, uniform, and incredibly stable panel.

    • Consistency is Key: The layers are consistently thick, minimizing voids and ensuring a smooth, even surface.
    • Strength in All Directions: The cross-lamination of the layers provides exceptional strength, no matter which way you cut it.

    • Grading Matters: You'll find Baltic Birch in various grades, with B/BB being a popular high-quality option for furniture and cabinetry.

Why I Chose Baltic Birch
