YUP CRAFTS has a dream - Blog 4

Hey everyone! YUP CRAFTS has some exciting plans brewing!

I'm Adam Swingler, and I started YUP CRAFTS with a pretty simple goal: to make a living. It was during the Covid pandemic, and like many others, I was unemployed and needed to provide for my family. I spent a lot of time on the couch (sound familiar?) watching YouTube and trying to figure out my next move. There's definitely a story there, and I'll share more of it in future blog posts.

Now, fast forward to the end of 2024, and things are starting to look up! YUP CRAFTS is making progress (though we're not quite profitable yet), and I've started to envision a business structure that can really make a difference. I'm still working out the details, but here's the big idea:

I want to grow YUP CRAFTS into a company that provides meaningful employment for people with special needs. This could include individuals with physical or mental challenges, or even those who are simply a bit older. I want to create a paid work opportunity for our loved ones who face extra hurdles. Beyond just a job, I want to foster a safe and welcoming environment for everyone. And I want to take it even further by offering support outside of work – things like transportation, food, or maybe even housing. I'm still exploring the possibilities.

So, that's the dream! It might not be perfectly worded or fully formed just yet, but it's a start. I'll be sharing more as I develop this idea through my blog.

Thanks so much for reading! YUP!
